♦East Meadow Softball hosted a free clinic for the players in our Ponytail Division.  We had great weather and an even better turnout with over 40 girls participating.  Ponytail players received instruction from players on our 10U and 12U travel teams.  A great time was had by all.  Thanks to all of the coaches who volunteered to help.   We look forward to a great Ponytail season. ♦EMBSA Safety Guidelines:

Dear Parents and friends, we at East Meadow Baseball/ Softball Association are happy to be playing ball again, but we want to be safe as well. We have put in place some safety measures for your children to follow in the dugouts and on the field and we have some for you too. Current CDC and local government guidelines are in effect.

* We will provide extra catchers equipment so one set is always disinfected by one of the coaches
* We will instruct the players that there are no seeds allowed in dugout or on the field, no spitting of seeds
* We will have each team clean the dugout before and after every game
* We will have the bathrooms cleaned periodically depending on situations
* We will limit bathroom capacity to one adult and one child
* We will supply disinfection stations through out the Complex.
* We will post signage and distance markers
We ask that you help us keep your children and all other guests safe as well while you are on the Complex.
* Please practice Social Distancing
* Please wear a mask
* Please limit bathroom occupancy
* Please STAY HOME if you or your child have any symptoms of or exposure to COVID-19, including quarantine protocols
* Please limit spectators to two per player
* Please discourage the sharing of food and drink
As we get ready to play ball the following MUST be adhered to by all players:
 * No sharing equipment
 * No seeds or bubble gum in dugout or on the field
 * No sharing of food or drink
 * No after game handshake
 * No High 5's with teammates
 * Two sets of catcher's equipment
 * Limited bathroom capacity
 * New team to wait for dugout to be empty before they enter.

WE are in this together, WE need to keep our community safe and healthy.  Let's all enjoy the season !

If you have any questions, send us an email at: info@embsa.net.
